Rue Auguste De Boeck à Evere, une série de nouvelles constructions comprend d’une part une maison de repos de 160 chambres et d’autre part une résidence-services de 27 appartements. La résidence-services comporte quatre niveaux, dont le rez-de-chaussée. Elle s’implante à front de rue. Jouant le rôle de porche, elle constitue le point d’entrée principal du projet et sa partie visible de la voie publique. La maison de repos se développe pour sa part en intérieur d’îlot, à distance raisonnable des autres constructions. D’un gabarit comportant le rez-de-chaussée et quatre niveaux, elle est composée de deux ailes articulées autour d’un noyau intégrant les circulations verticales et les zones de vie commune. L’accès principal est situé à la jonction de ces deux ailes. Les deux bâtiments disposent d’un niveau de sous-sol affecté aux parkings et à divers locaux de service. Les espaces extérieurs sont traités de façon paysagère et seront utilisés comme parc d’agrément pour les résidents. L’ensemble de la composition vise, par des moyens simples et sans ostentation excessive, à affirmer la présence de l’immeuble.
Rue Auguste De Boeck in Evere, comprises a series of new buildings including a nursing home of 160 rooms, on the one hand, and an assisted living residence of 27 apartments on the other hand. The assisted living residence consists in four levels, including the ground floor. It is located on the front of the building, on the street side. Acting as a porch, it is the main entrance of the project and it is visible from the public road. The nursing home develops, as far as it is concerned, on the inner side of the house block, at reasonable distance from the other constructions. With a scheme including the ground floor and four levels, it is composed of two wings articulated around a core, which integrates the vertical circulations and the common living areas. The main access is located at the junction between these two wings. Both buildings benefit from a basement level, where the parking spaces and various service areas can be found. The outside area is treated in a landscape way and will be used as leisure garden for the residents. The whole composition aims, through simple means and without any excessive ostentation, to assert the presence of the building.
Te Evere in de Auguste De Boeckstraat zijn, in een reeks nieuwe gebouwen, enerzijds een rusthuis met 160 kamers en anderzijds een residentie met 27 serviceflats ingericht. De residentie heeft vier niveau’s waaronder een gelijkvloers en is ingeplant aan de straatzijde. Ze fungeert als voorportaal en hoofdingang van het project en het gedeelte ervan dat zichtbaar is vanaf de openbare weg. Het rusthuis daarentegen is gebouwd aan de binnenzijde van het bouwblok, op een redelijke afstand van de andere gebouwen. Met een gabariet dat een gelijkvloers bevat en vier verdiepingen, beschikt het gebouw over twee vleugels, gebouwd rond een kern waarin de verticale circulatiewegen en de gemeenschappelijke leefruimtes zijn ondergebracht. De hoofdtoegang bevindt zich op de verbinding tussen deze twee vleugels. Beide gebouwen hebben een ondergrondse verdieping die bestemd is voor de autostaanplaatsen en de verschillende dienstlokalen. De buitenruimtes zijn op een landschappelijke wijze opgevat en doen dienst als wandelpark voor de bewoners. Het geheel van het ontwerp beoogt, door eenvoudige middelen en zonder overdreven vertoon, de aanwezigheid van het gebouw in de verf te zetten.
