These new constructions comprise a retirement home of 160 rooms and a building of 27 service flats located in the municipality of Evere.
At the moment we have reached GF+2/+3 for the retirement home and the construction of the service flats have just started.
The demolition of the townhouse built in 1843, which had been awkwardly altered, extended, enhanced and renovated on several occasions, is ongoing. The building used to house 6,100 sq.m. of above-ground offices.
The future contemporary and ageless office building will have a building height of GF+5 +2 recessed floors and a total surface area of 7,315 sq.m. above-ground.
Contrarily to the old building, the new building will be perfectly symmetrical to the opposing Régent 36 building, forming together a real city entrance.
Breevast and Immobel, real estate partners in the major project of the Administrative City, have specifically named Archi2000 to follow and manage the construction of the housing part of the project.
The first step, i.e. the demolition and rebuilding of the existing building on rue de Ligne, is about to start. Once finished, it will comprise 7,800sq.m. of apartments.
A large office building located on avenue Livingstone in Brussels is being converted into housing.
The 4 apartment blocks, which will all benefit from a shared entrance and inner courtyard, are at different stages of the renovation. The structure of the building is kept in order to minimize the demolition works. This doesn’t only reduce the amount of building waste, saving the building of a new structure, but it also shortens the time of the works.
The demolition of the previous headquarters of the Rossel Group, rue Royale, allowed to create a hotel complex (490 rooms) for the Group Motel One.
The works on the facades are coming to an end and the building will be provisionally accepted by February 2014.
The conversion of an office building into 22 luxury apartments in rue de Livourne in Ixelles is coming to an end. The site used to be part of a larger property that housed the headquarters of the Bayer Company.
