News January 2014 - Archi2000’s Architecture
The trend towards ‘all housing’ in Brussels was confirmed in 2012 – and our architectural firm is today seeing continuing demand for both new projects and for converting / renovating existing buildings.
The good news is that work is getting underway: 122 apartments in Brussels centre, 177 apartments in Evere, 63 apartments in Forest, 79 apartments in Etterbeek, a 160-room retirement home and a serviced accommodation building of 27 apartments in Evere. Then there is the exciting Bordet project – a specialist cancer unit – on the Erasmus site which will have 250 beds and 80,000 m² aboveground.
Parallel with these projects, the Motel One Rue Royale site, a 490-room hotel, is in full swing while the Forum site, 40,000 m² of offices for the Belgian Parliament, has just been finished.
And finally, an atypical project in today’s Brussels landscape, we are going to start the demolition-reconstruction of the Regent 35 – Loi 13 corner, a prestigious project for a private investor which will include 7,315 m² of new offices. Yes… offices!
To conclude, we are very well established in the Brussels Region and have plenty on our plate, in collaboration with quality developers and/or investors, whom we would like to thank here for their confidence.
